Consign with Beachside!

Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to join the Beachside Family! When you bring your items in, we will select the items we feel that our customers are currently in the market for. All items must be in clean, undamaged, unscented, and in working condition. If items are not in resale condition, they will be refused. 

Our goal is to get the best possible price for you. Resale prices on your consigned items are based on fair market value, along with supply and demand. As items age, the prices will be reduced at the discretion of Beachside Furnishings up to 30% off the original listed price.

The consignment split is 50/50 of the sold price- you receive half, and the store receives half. Once an item has sold, your account will be credited half of the sold price, less applicable credit card fees, if used. Taxes are collected on all items sold and submitted to the proper government authority. We do not notify you when your item or items sell. We will issue you a check for any item(s) sold, less the 50% between the 1^st and 5^th of the following month.

Your consigned items are displayed for sale for a period of 4 months. If your item(s) does not sell at the end of your 4-month term, we may elect to extend your period of consignment with your approval. If at the end of this term you would like to retrieve your unsold items upon contract expiration, please call us at least 24 hours in advance and your items will be held up to 48 hours. If you do not wish to pick up your remaining unsold, expired items, they will be donated to charity. We will make the necessary arrangements and ensure that the charity tax receipt is forwarded to you.

We do our best to safeguard your items; however, Beachside Furnishings as well as its owner and/or personnel are not responsible for damage or loss from any man-made event to include by not limited to theft, vandalism, arson, terrorist attack, etc. as well as any acts of God, including flood, fire, hurricane, or Alien invasion.

All items on consignment must legally be your property or you have the authority to sell them. All items brought in on consignment must not be in violation of any copyrights, patents or trademark laws. 

Beachside Furnishings reserves the right to terminate this Agreement in whole or in part. If termination should occur, Consignor must remove said merchandise from premises within 48 hours of notice. In the event the Consignor fails to remove the merchandise within 48 hours, Consignor shall be considered to have abandoned the merchandise.
