Consign with Beachside!

Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to join the Beachside Family! When you consign with us, we will select the items we feel our customers are currently in the market for. We strive to handpick unique, quality merchandise and offer our clients an unpressured, pleasant atmosphere. All consigned items must be in clean, undamaged, unscented, working condition for resale. If items are not in resale condition, they will be refused.

Our goal is to get the best possible price for you. Resale prices on your consigned items are based on condition, rarity, supply, demand, and fair market value. Your items are displayed in our showroom and/or online for sale for a period of 4 months. As items age, the prices will be reduced by 10% increments monthly up to 30% off the original listed price. Beachside Furnishings may, with discretion, raise or lower the price, or include your items in sales.

The monetary split for consignment is 50/50 of the sold price (you receive 50%, and the store receives 50%). The monetary split for consignment only on our website & social media but stored at your location is 70/30 of the sold price (you receive 70% and the store receives 30%). Once an item has sold, your account will be credited your percentage, less the applicable credit card fee if a card is used. We do not notify you when your item(s) sell. We will issue you a check for any item(s) sold, less the split between the 1st and 5th of the following month.

If your item(s) does not sell at the end of your 4-month term, we may elect to extend your 4-month term in certain circumstances. If at the end of this term you would like to retrieve your unsold items, please call us at least 24 hours in advance to gather your items. If you do not wish to pick up your unsold, expired items, we may acquire, give away, or donate your items to charity. We will make the necessary arrangements to remove your unwanted items on your behalf to avoid a delivery fee. A charitable tax receipt is available upon request.

We do our best to safeguard your items; however, Beachside Furnishings as well as its owner, and/or personnel are not responsible for damage or loss from Alien invasions or man-made events, including but not limited to theft, vandalism, arson, or terrorism, etc.; as well as any acts of God, including flood, fire, sinkholes, or hurricanes, etc.

All consigned items must legally belong to you, or you must have the authority to sell them. All consigned items must not violate any criminal, copyright, patent, or trademark laws.

Beachside Furnishings reserves the right to terminate this Agreement in whole or in part at any time. If termination should occur, Consignor must remove said merchandise from premises within 48 hours of notice. In the event the Consignor fails to remove the merchandise within 48 hours, merchandise shall be considered abandoned by the Consignor.
